My friends Anita Stoneman and Dianne Vought and I ( Colleen F Hoke ) started a group that is built around Friendship, Yarn and Charity Projects. We want to invite you all to join in on our quarterly friendship projects as well as our quarterly charity projects. Our goal is to create a team of crocheters and knitters to build friendship and share the love of our craft with one another by doing projects for charity and disaster relief efforts. We hope you will join us in this adventure, have fun, make friends, and create and share goodness while we enjoy our craft. We currently have a 12 x12 Granny Square Blanket Project as our “building friendships” project. 35, 12×12 squares each are needed to send to me and swap…the due date isn’t until September 1st – that is right about 3 squares a day AND if you don’t want/need an afghan – the size we are doing ( a queen size ) will make 3 baby blankets for donation to your local NICU. Our Charity project is the Preemie Project. They are holding a “Zoo in the NICU” hat and bootie drive for the month of June. Even if you can make one preemie animal hat – it is a great way to give back. You don’t have to participate in every project to be a member. Angel Christening Dress Ensemble

Tricity Hokes Creations would like to introduce my newest design the Angel Christening Dress Ensemble. The ensemble includes the dress, ruffle butt diaper cover, bonnet, barefoot sandals, and a blanket. The sizes include are micro-preemie, preemie, 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months. This is a great dress that can be super dressy but can also be an everyday set!

I included the micro-preemie and preemie sizes in hopes that you will make some of these little dresses and diaper covers up and give to your local NICU or great charities such as The Preemie Project.

Teddy Bear Cross ST Ensemble

Introducing my new crochet pattern the Teddy Bear Cross ST Ensemble. The pattern includes sizes Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-12 months. This ensemble includes a Sweater ( long or short sleeve options), a pair of bottom ( short, capri, and pant length options ), a bonnet, bootie, a teddy bear applique in two sizes, and a blanket.

I love this little set. I created it when a friend of mine was due to have a baby in May. Here in the Northwest May still has very cool days and some very warm days as well. I found this set to be a versatile gift that would give her lots of use. I added the teddy bear applique in two different sizes. I used one for the bum of the pants and one for the sweater to make the set just “belong” together. The blanket and hat would look equally cute with teddy bears adorning them. I want to give a HUGE thanks to Dianne Vought for her help editing this pattern!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Well we’ve been having a busy month. We moved into Grandma’s house so let the unpacking begin! And just as we think we get a break everyone starts getting sick! Bri and Bill are so sick they can’t hardly get out of bed, grandma’s in the hospital and the doctors don’t know whats going on. Now tomorrow is my birthday/ Jeannine’s dedication and we have a TON of people coming over so we have to get the yard ready. On top of all this I have my crocheting to do… Busy, busy, busy me 🙂
